Moby Wrap

Are you a new mum or dad looking for a comfy baby sling with no buckles or clasps? Then the award-winning, easy-to-use Moby Wrap is the one for you. This wraparound baby carrier is made from one continuous piece of fabric in fabulous solid colours. It is machine washable in 100% stretchy cotton, 5m in length to fit any size.

The Moby baby wrap is very simple to use – no fuss or bother – no buckles or clasps. Couldn’t be simpler – tie your wrap on and wrap around your body. Just read our manual for instructions. The Moby wrap is also very versatile – baby can be carried upright facing in and out, on the back and on the hip as well as the cradle position. Babies love the cuddly feeling of being held in a warm natural position. This is an ideal baby sling for the colicky, fractious child. It has been proven that babies will not cry as often when held close to mum’s body in this position.

The stretchy fabric is tied over both shoulders and allows you to hold baby securely against your body. This spreads baby’s weight, supports your back and prevents back pain. The Moby carrier is especially suitable for premature babies and newborns. And it’s very easy to breastfeed in the cradle position leaving the hands free. You can then adjust the position of the carrier for older babies.

The award winning Moby Baby Sling ticks all the boxes for babywearing. It’s comfortable, safe, and very easy to use. It comes in beautiful colours and it’s simple to keep clean. The Moby baby sling is a great deal -it will give you wonderful service from newborn to toddler stage. You won’t need another carrier as long as you have the Moby baby sling!

Technical Details

Technical Details
  • 100% Cotton
  • Moby Wraps can hold babies up to 35lbs., which is typically a 3 year old child.
  • The Moby Wrap is easy to clean. Prewashing before first use is recommended. You can machine wash your Moby Wrap in cold water and air-dry or tumble dry on low. Your Moby Wrap may shrink slightly in the dryer, but will stretch out again after being worn. Please note that the Moby d hand-woven cotton is not color fast and should be washed separately, or with like colors. Moby d Wraps with silk should be washed and handled gently. Washing instructions are located on the back of the Moby tag sewn into your Moby Wrap.
  • It is perfectly normal for your Moby Wrap to experience slight shrinkage since is made of 100% cotton. We have designed our Moby Wraps with extra length built in to accommodate for first wash shrinkage. If you are unable to bring the ends back to the front, try tying the wrap in the back: Moby Wraps are designed to be tied either at the wearer’s front or back – both are equally safe and comfortable.
  • The Moby Wrap is 5.5 meters long and will fit larger moms and dads as well. When wrapping, you would simply tie a knot at your back.

Helpful Hints from Moby

Helpful Hints
  • Newborn babies with colic, gas or acid reflux often prefer being carried in an upright position.
  • If baby doesn’t like being in the wrap, gently take baby out and try again later.
  • A baby can sense a wearer's hesitance when using the wrap. Babies who "don't like being wrapped" actually enjoy it (and fall fast asleep) when carried by an experienced babywearer. Keep practicing!
  • Babies will cue you when they are ready to be out of this position by starting to stretch their legs. At this point, you may put baby’s legs through the fabric as instructed in the Hug Hold.
