Don't want to use disposables when you go on holiday then this is the answer.\r Just place in the nappy and then go and throw away when used. \r Works out to be expensive if you use 24/7

I love these as a back up! I got these as a freebie, so decided to try these over night (12-14hrs) with my toddler who's close to toilet training. I used 2 together and they held up fab. I've also used them in the day and they last a good few hours - I use 2 with my heavy wetter but 1 would be sufficient for a normal/light wetter and make a trim nappy.

Didn't really get on
These came as part of a bundle which I bought at a trade show. I don't really have a use for them. But tried them a few times. Found them a big faff. Can see why people would use them if going on holiday or at creche but that's some expense!! Mine sat lonely on a shelf until someone in my local nappy group wanted them.

Good for holidays
I do like these - I am planning on taking them on holidays with my flip covers for a lower-stress way of nappying whilst away. My only grumble with these is that they aren't quite as absorbent as I'd like. I guess that expecting them to be as good in performance as an Elemental is a bit unreasonable, so maybe I'm hoping for the impossible! We get a good 3 hours out of them, so I think that I'd suggest to potential holiday users to take a few more than you think. I also keep a couple in my change bag for emergencies - when I got caught out with an unexpected poop, these as a backup were worth their weight in gold !

LOVE these for weekends/weeks away. We use them with either Charlie Banana OS or BG V4's. Would work out expensive for everyday use but life-saver when away or when sickness bugs strikes!

These are a really good option for travel when you don't have the ability to wash. Just toss the insert and rinse out the cover in the sink. I still prefer cloth options when possible, though.

We got a few packs of these for going on holiday, with 2 in cloth and no washing facilities I didn't fancy hand washing in the sink while we were away as I had done the first time we had gone away. They were amazing. We used 2 with both our 2.5yr old and 5mo old but sometimes the bottom one wasn't wet so we were able to reuse it. They have also been great for sending with granny too and to nursery! I love that they aren't full of chemicals and I may also have stolen some for us during heavy periods!

Every time we have tried the desposbable inserts with a flip outer we have had leaks and a very wet and unhappy baby (this is even sometimes after just a hour). I think my son must be a heavey wetter as these don't work for us.

These are great for going away or if you don't like carrying lots of dirty nappies in your changing bag (I personally don't mind since it gives me an excuse to buy lots of pretty wetbags!) My daughter regularly does poop-explosions so conventional disposables simply don't work for us. I'm definitely planning on taking these with us on holiday. I've heard these are compostable as well but haven't tried it myself.

These disposable inserts make taking cloth with you anywhere you go even easier. We moved onto cloth because no disposable could contain my Little man's poo. But Bumgenuis understand that there are sometimes disposables are convient. We're going on holiday and will be taking our flips and these inserts with us. I can't wait to go even more now I know I won't be changing his clothes every time he poos

Love these as they are so useful for holidays where it's difficult to wash much. They also leave space at the end of the holiday for extra gifts as there isn't anything to bring back once used. They can be a slight pain when the fibres stick to their bums.

These disposable inserts are great for holidays when using flip covers or even for use within a pocket nappy! It's a good compromise for when you dont want to use disposables but aren't able to use full cloth nappies.

These are really simple to use, as an alternative to washables inserts with a flip cover. They for inside the flaps the same as washable inserts. Although absorbent, I did need to change my daughter after about 3 hrs. They are very soft on babies skin, and didn't have a strong chemical smell like disposables do. They are a little bit narrower than a washable liner, so I did at times find some poo would escape into the outer cover, especially when she was younger. But overall a good option when Washing is unavailable or impractical.

I used these on a weeks holiday, with Best Bottom shells. This was a successful combination, although they did require changing more frequently than cloth inserts. I also found them to be bulkier than our usual inserts, and wider between the legs. They weren't absorbent enough for 12 hour night use, and unfortunately our son is too small to double up without his bum being too bulky. All in all they were a great alternative to cloth as a short term measure, but too expensive for regular use, also still create a lot of waste.

I love cloth nappies but when going on holidays and staying in hotels etc they can be impractical.. I bought these to use on holidays inside flip wraps nad charlie bananas and found them very handy.... Not absorbent enought for overnight use though for my two! You could possibly use 2 but i prefer the flip organic for nights...

As much as we all want to cloth diaper full time, let's face it, it isn't always possible. Long trips to grandma is when I put one of these in a pocket diaper, or when I know Little Man will be in the Mei Tai for long periods of time. We've never had a leak with these, though we don't use them often to be fair. But when we need them, I've always been happy they were in the house.

Don't get along with the flip system in general but these have been extremely handy when out for a loooong time.Don't like dragging too many nappies out for the day and these are a good compromise. I still have to boost them but that leaves a lot less for me to carry around then i'f i'd gone out with fitteds!x

When my daughter had dreadful nappy rash following her mmr jab we didnt want to give up on cloth entirely so switched to these to keep her a bit. These inserts are great but do tend to bunch a bit, but I think you would get that with any insert

Great for travelling, especially by plane. As you can just dispose of the wet insert. We have to double up with these though, as one alone is not very absorbent. Wish it could be wider, to fit properly into the flip wrap, seems really narrow considering the wrap size.

We used these on my 4 month old son when we went on holiday to Finland. We used the flip wrap (I think we took 3 wraps for a week) and together they were a brilliant way of using 'cloth' whilst on holiday. We used 2 inserts for night time and that was fine. The place we stayed had an eco toilet which meant we could just toss the inserts into the 'loo' so they didn't get thrown into the rubbish so we felt we were still being environmentally friendly. We had a couple of explosions which meant the wrap needed a good wash in the sink but in the main we had no real problems and will certainly use them on holiday again.

I bought these inserts to use when we went away for a long weekend where there were no washing facilities - and I dont have enough fluff for 4 days and 2 babies. Not very absorbent but a much better option than disposables imo.

As an expat on my 1st long flight (30hrs travel time w/o delays) with a wee one in nappies, I found our nappies/diapers took up a whole carryon bag, but cringed at the idea of disposables. Then, I found Flip. We have happily used these inserts for a year during long travels & when staying >3days w/o a washing machine. They are amazingly absorbent-never had a leak, quick & easy to use. I love how they have side wings that help keep the cover clean. We use the Flip system exclusively for outings & travel too as they are so versatile. Microfiber inserts in the changing bag saves space and the organic cotton inserts are amazing for our heavy nighttime wetter. These inserts also work well in the training pants covers.

I originally thought that these would be a good alternative to using disposables on holiday or carting a big bag of nappies around but I think it is easier just to use the flips with the normal inserts. I found that I had to use two because one just wasn't absorbent enough so it made it a very expensive option. I did like that they don't smell in the way that disposables do, but I'm not convinced and won't be using them again.
