Best Nappies I have triedQuality Value for Money Ease of Use Overall 17/04/2013
I have tried lots of brands and these have been the best for my heavy wetter. Most nappies with boosters leak after 45/1 hour but I can get 3+ hours with a freetime and one bamboo booster.
Lovely selection of colours and quick drying, love its an all in one that you don't even need to stuff any part back in, just lay the flaps.
Good price but even better when Babame run offers! -

So easy to use a great starting placeValue for Money Ease of Use Overall Quality 16/04/2013
A great starting place in to the world of fluffy bums. Easy to use, no stuffing, perfect for useless husbands. Absorbent, lovely colours, prefer the poppers to the aplix, really want the maathi limited edition

not our fave aioOverall Quality Value for Money Ease of Use 14/04/2013
I have both a hook and loop and poppers. the applix most definitely gives a better fit eat time the popper one can take some adjusting.
we find these absorbent enough at the moment and trim however I do find them very fiddly. im not a fan of the flaps much prefer a flap that can be tucked into a pocket -

Comes up smaller than a v4Quality Value for Money Ease of Use Overall 12/04/2013
Love the idea of a freetime so bought one to try out but found that it came up a lot smaller than our BG v4s. Not great for large toddlers I'm afraid.

great nappyOverall Quality Value for Money Ease of Use 12/04/2013
This is the first all in one nappy I have used and I was worried about the drying time but the way the inserts are attached and hang out of the nappy for drying means that it dries as quick as my pockets.

Nice and trimEase of Use Overall Quality Value for Money 12/04/2013
I like these nappies as they dry so quickly and I don't need to take anything else with them, we fold the front booster to the front for our girl, don't get a good fit with the aplix ones but get in great with the snaps. They are such a trim nappy as they don't need extra boosting

I ordered one of these nappies after reading all the good reviews they get and I wasn't let down. They are a great fit and more absorbent than I expected from looking at them. They are also simple to use

Best I've used!Overall Quality Value for Money Ease of Use 17/02/2013
I love my BG free time nappy! It's 2 main strengths are:
Ease of use
Drying time
There is no need to stuff, although it is easy to boost if needed by placing booster under the flaps. Dries in about the same time as my pocket nappies but without the stuffing time needed! I would recommend! I got mine on special offer, so great value or money too. -

Trim and absorbentOverall Quality Value for Money Ease of Use 14/01/2013
These nappies are trim and absorbent though I do find then fiddly. I don't seem to do well with aios that have flap out inserts I seem to find them awkward to put on. I have a applix and snaps and where I favour snaps for nappies I find it hard to get the fit right with snaps on the freetime. Get a better fit with our applix one. Not sure how easy I will find them to boost when the time comes that they need boosting.

Simply the best!Ease of Use Overall Quality Value for Money 31/12/2012
Brilliant nappy. Very good fit, bit bulkier to Bumgenius Elemental, however it dries ultra fast, big pro for parents with no tumble drier. Its also dad proof nappy, my hubby did put it front to back once and it worked!

Another winner from the geniuses at BumgeniusEase of Use Overall Quality Value for Money 27/11/2012
Great nappy and so easy to use.
One of my favourite all in one nappies as it doesn't take an age to dry as the inserts just flip out for drying. Which also means I don't have to fish around it the laundry basket trying to match the inserts to the right nappy! Bonus!
Brilliant fit as with all bumgenius nappies.
Only con I have found is that that the stay dry lining has bobbled a little, but this does not affect it's use.

Best, easiest nappy aroundQuality Value for Money Ease of Use Overall 22/11/2012
These nappies are fantastic. So simple to use. Just like a disposable. They fit really well - no elastic marks, no wing droop, and good adjustment especially for poppers. I find I can add boosters easily although I have some good thin (i.e. not wide) boosters. They dry in no time at all - 24 hours inside max.
All round great nappy. I'm just waiting for some specials.

nice simple nappy to useEase of Use Overall Quality Value for Money 08/10/2012
This is one of my newest additions to the nappy stash and I quite like it! There is no stuffing so it is easy to use and I love the bright colours of the most recent bumgenius range.
I think the main downside to this nappy is that the washing instructions say no tumble drying so in the middle of winter this may mean longer drying time, but in saying that they are quite quick drying so should dry relatively easily indoors. The other thing I wonder about is the ability to stuff these nappies with boosters. My kids are very heavy wetters and I'm wondering when my little boy grows and pees more whether I will be able to boost this enough to keep using it. The V4 nappies are easier to stuff boosters into the pockets to make them more absorbent.
At the moment I really love this nappy though and would definitely recommend it to others! -

Great nappies for GrandparentsEase of Use Overall Quality Value for Money 02/10/2012
I bought 3 freetimes last week and they are brilliant nappies. The fact they require no stuffing makes it easy for grandparents to use and also helps speed up drying time. The colours I bought (Sassy, Dazzle and lovelace) are realy really gorgeous. the photo's so not do them justice at all. Highly reccomend.

A clever aioEase of Use Overall Quality Value for Money 12/09/2012
Not what I was expecting but good absorbency. I love the poppers. Very, very quick drying. Can be boosted. Only issue I have with them is soft poo is quite difficult to remove as the inners (2 separate sewn in mf flaps) tend to flop down making it a bit tricky.
Would love some more in my stash :) -

Great for quick nappy changesEase of Use Overall Quality Value for Money 10/09/2012
I love the freetime for it's ease of use -like a pocket nappy it goes on just like a disposable would but with the added bonus of no stuffing involved! This makes it great when a fast, quick nappy change is needed, for example when you're running late and need to get out the door quickly. I find it slimmer than the v4 too.

Great containment & easy to use!Value for Money Ease of Use Overall Quality 05/09/2012
These are excellent as you would expect from BG, great containment, easy to use & very quick drying - my only criticism would be that I don't think they are as absorbent as a V4 with both inserts but for most people that's not an issue, I just have a very heavy wetter!

My all time favourite nappy!!Value for Money Ease of Use Overall Quality 05/09/2012
This is my every day reliable nappy. It can contain anything my son can deliver.
Comfortable, no elastic marks about the legs.
Easy to use - we use them for nursery and staff can all use easily.
These do take a long time to dry, but this means I get to buy more, so isn't really a bad thing!!
Slightly more expensive than other nappies, but well worth it. -

A quick drying nappy of usual bumgenius reliabilityValue for Money Ease of Use Overall Quality 05/09/2012
This is a very reliable nappy, easy to use for partners, grandparents and nurseries. They are very quick drying.
We have yet to have a leak with these nappies, and they have contained many an explosive poo.
Highly recommended. -

Easy to use nappy, which dries quickly.Value for Money Ease of Use Overall Quality 05/09/2012
I love all-in-one nappies as they are so easy to use, especially for nursery and hubby. The bum genius freetime is actually pretty quick to dry and will be ready to go after a few hours on the line or a day on the inside airer. Some other brands take 24 hours on my indoor airer so in comparison there are great. I find these quite large fitting, but they adjust well so are good for my chubby baby. Would definately recommend trying these!

Well worth the extra investmentEase of Use Overall Quality Value for Money 11/08/2012
I used BG V3 on my now 5 year old. The elastic had stretched on the legs making them too loose for my now 8 week old so I decided to invest in some new cloth nappies (plus I'd bought pink nappies & had a boy this time DOH) When my other half heard there was an option with no stuffing, he didn't care that they cost more! Having never tried BG V4, this is the first time for me to experience the improvements in BG since V3 and it's fantastic so far. These are really easy to use, and seem much more absorbent than V3. I'm using a few V3 that work still and can really see the difference between the two. Not having to stuff is great I have to say. I'm very impressed with these so far and reckon I'll be back to purchase some more when winter kicks in and I have to dry them on the clothes horse instead of the line.

ImpressedOverall Quality Value for Money Ease of Use 12/07/2012
Having used another brand that had to be popped together after drying and leaked averagely 3 times a day, I found this unbelievably easy to use and surprisingly quick to dry.
The two times I have used it I used a slim bamboo booster underneath (as 1-year-old does large pees) and I got a good 4 hours out of it. No leaks so far. Also had a present in it when I came to change it and it was very soft yet fully contained.
Wish I had discovered these earlier! Still, even now 1 year in it saves buying extra clothes to be able to get through a day! Hurrah!

Questions on BumGenius Freetime
- From Manjeet kaur at 09/07/2012 23:36
- Is the this nappys good for the others nappy
- Hi
I'm not sure of the question but the bumGenius freetime is a fantantastic cloth nappy! It is an all in one which means that you do not need any other cloth nappies in it or over it.
It is also a onesize so this means you do not need any more sizes, this will do most babies from birth until potty trained.
It is also a very simple to use cloth nappy, just open, put on baby and close!

- Hey - I used the v3 for my daughter now 5, the elastic in legs too wide now to use on my 6 week old - so planning to get these. Is the Velcro version the hook & loop? Prefer Velcro option to poppers , thanks !
- Hi Maire! Yes Velcro, Hook and Loop and Aplix are just different names for the same thing.

- Hello there,
BumGenius Freetime is one size and all in one nappy as BumGenius V4 ( also one size and all in one nappy.
So what is the exact difference between BumGenius Freetime and BumGenius V4 please?
Thanks
Joanna
- This blog post explains in detail the difference between the two nappies,
http://www.bgnappies.blogspot.ie/2012/01/bumgenius-v4-vs-bumgenius-freetime.html
But in short, the V4 is a pocket nappy so you stuff the inserts in, the Freetime is an all in one nappy, the inserts are attached already. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No
- Hello there,
- From Tracey YOUNG at 19/01/2013 12:56
- We brought a set of your Bum Genius Freetime nappies and are just about to start using them on our four month old son, what do you recommend we do for night time use? Should we use any extra inserts as our son sleeps between five to eight hours (most nights).
Many thanks
- Tracey,
If you feel that your nappies are completely saturated when used overnight then we recommend moving the poppers to a looser position and fitting in an extra insert. The organic inserts retain more moisture than the staydry and are great for overnight use. Alternatively you could switch to the bumgenius v.4 many cloth nappy users have given us positive feedback on its merits fr overnight use.
If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask.
