Indigo Jamm Raceway Garage

For the ultimate in toy car roleplay, its hard to beat the Raceway Garage from Indigo Jamm! With its fabulous retro theme, this great wooden car playset not only looks good but is also fully functional! The garages three floors are all connected by a lift that easily goes up and down thanks to a large wooden cog at the top which is perfect for little hands! Indigo Jamm are well known for their attention to detail and its clearly evident in this wooden toy. Although the playset is made from plywood and sustainable rubber wood, they've made the curved speed ramps from plastic because wooden ramps would be too rigid! Hows that for a company doing its homework? No wonder that at Baba Me we just love Indigo Jamm!

  • The set comprises: wooden garage, 2 retro-style cars, petrol pump and repair centre

  • 65cm x 42cm x 51cm

  • Suitable for children aged 3+ years (earlier with supervision)

Indigo Jamm Wooden Toys arrived at Baba Me HQ in February 2017. Its a beautiful, award-winning range of retro, thoughtfully-made wooden toys, where the focus is on quality. From beautiful, sturdy wooden buses to lovely wooden kitchens, the Indigo Jamm range also comes with little wooden peg people, who can fit into all of the products and can facilitate your child's roleplay. Made in Thailand and China from sustainable materials including rubber wood and birch plywood, the Indigo Jamm range is finished off with safe non-toxic paints and stains. All of the toys can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and left to dry naturally. Baba Me is so proud to stock Indigo Jamm and we can't wait to see what this brand brings us next!

Soooo Lovely
Ok people I bought this a few weeks ago and after feeling organised thought I would build today to make sure everything is there. Well firstly as you can see from the picture its absolutely amazing. The colours, cars and little touches are beautifully done. There is disabled parking, 2 lovely retro cars and a petrol pump that slots into the cars backs. The gear on top turns to bring up the cars and it works seamlessly. I love it. ???? That being said I am aching all over, I have a blistered thumb and a urge to drink copious amounts of some sort of alcoholic concoction. If you have this for your child/ children Im going to give you some valuable advice to help with building this. 1. They pack a handy Allen key/ screwdriver to assist in building this. - throw it away! Its as much use as a chocolate teapot. Go raid you dads/ husbands toolbox for screwdrivers and eventually you may come up with one small enough (but not that small) that will do the job. (It will be too long to reach in certain areas ??) 2. I went in blind. Daddy was bathing the child and I sneaked into the back room. I thought a hour, after all I am the flat pack master in this house. If it comes with instructions and screws I normally make it. - 2 HOURS 26 MINS!!!! To make matters worse I could not get provisions for fear the daughter would notice me and therefore stop me in my tracks or discover her Christmas present. SO it is important you set yourself up with drinks and snacks. 2 bottles of wine and 7 bars of chocolate should do it. 3. When your husband comments that youve been ages you are allowed to hit him with a stick, if he then follows up with this is what you get for buying wooden toys you can hit him again. (Checked the instructions its true) 4. If you can find some other mug to build it for you, do. You are still allowed the wine and chocolate. You will need these while your being entertained watching said mug build. 5. If you build it yourself and you have survived you are most definitely allowed to purchase a mystery chocolate box and keep it all to yourself

One of my favourite kids toys!
I love this garage, there's no two ways about it - And thankfully my kids agree. It wasn't particularly easy to put together (just ask my husband, I tried to do it and failed, we had to do it together with him taking the lead) but I think that's because it's all so perfectly, and precisely, made that it means that the finished product is so so strong, and incredibly sturdy. My boys both play with this, now, the 7yo more as it's intended whilst the toddler fills the lift shaft with cars and farm animals. But this is a toy that kids will grow in to. At the moment the toddler doesn't totally 'get it' but each time he plays with it the more he does so, eventually, I see this being one of his most played with toys simply because he is car mad and it's so great. I love all of the different levels, and the ramps are angled just perfectly for the right amount of 'woooosh' when you let your cars slide down, the lift is really nicely made too, with the twist at the top which lowers it up and down gently. Another Indigo Jamm winner from us.

Great quality garage
I love this garage. It is great quality and much better than the plastic one I had for my older kids when they were small. Really want to add even more cars to it.

Love at first sight for the Boy
My son received this for Christmas- it was the highlight of his day! At the age of 2, he hasn't quite grasped the concept of parking the cars- there's a lot of plunging down the lift shaft, but the ramps are great fun for 2 year olds (and 9 year old Sisters. And 41 year old Daddies). It takes a lot of putting together- An hour and a half for me, and left me with blisters, but it's beautiful and the Boy Child loves it and that's the main thing!

Best garage ever
I saw this at a friends house and just had to get it to replace a plastic one we had received as a gift from elsewhere. The quality is excellent and its so solid I could nearly stand on it! Its so pretty to look at too!

Amazing
We got this for my 21 month old, after having a few different plastic ones with my eldest we wanted a nice wooden one. 100% worth the money. We have had it a week and its has been played with most tge day, everyday. My 5 year old loves the lift and putting the petrol in the car where the youngest loves the ramps. The colour and the finish are stunning, nice bright colours and the garage is really study. It took my husband 45 minutes to put it together.

Great present
We bought this for my son's first birthday and he loves it! He figured out how to use the lift and ramps straightaway and it's sturdy enough for him to lean on as he plays. (Also sturdy enough for him to climb up and try and reach the TV, we've learnt from that one!) Leave plenty of time to assemble it though, it was simple enough to put together but there are a lot of screws!
