They're great. Get loads of play with the 12 pc rainbow. And just in general, transporting and rolling them. Great open ended toy.

I only got these to go with the rainbow really in the hope of being able to make tracks and ball runs but my son just loves them. He keeps using them as the most imaginative creative things. He loves to pretend they're bus dinosaur eggs or his special treasure. Think that's what's so special about Grimm's they really do inspire.such imaginative play .

I got these after my 4 year old saw them on a picture. They are a great addition to our rainbow, to use as a maze. He also plays with them on their own by rolling. They are simple but such a great product. I'm glad I decided to get them.

The grimm's balls add a whole new way of playing with our other Grimm's pieces! used with the rainbow you can make a ball run, roll under arches like croquet, roll into an arch like a pin ball machine... smaller the arch the more points scored. Use with the friends to recreate skittles, they're fun just to roll between children. No throwing though as they are weighty and could cause mischief! fab colours and quality and its ajoy to feel and see the wood grain.

Lovely crafted and coloured balls which have been used (with rainbows) as a marble run, as part of games and with toys such as the Grimms forest and Indigo Jamm fire engine in imaginary play

The colours are just beautiful and i love that you can see the grain of the wood. Our 2 year old has taken to trying to play bowls with these in the kitchen and can spend hours playing with them.

These have actually been purchased for my Toddler's Xmas present but I couldn't resist opening up to have a look. Balls are a nice size - not too big and not too small. I love the simple egg box storage that they come in - means I have somewhere to store them together. The quality is as to be expected from Grimms - we have a couple of items now and looking to add to our collection.
Lovely toy for open ended play

These have been a hit with my little boy (4months) and should really grow with him. They feel lovely and the vibrant colours really hold his interest. They also go well with other toys such as stacking rings and rainbows for extra fun.

My child loves balls.. And these are no exception. We don't even use them in conjunction with the rainbow. She just loves rolling them up and down. We make all kind of random ball games, can we roll them through each other's legs, or can we hit mummy's slipper on the other side of the room with them. This morning 4 of them were neatly arranged on my bed. Not even sure when she done that! We've misplaced 2!! The are small and solid. I'm a bit worried one will hit a window at some point... But so far she understands they are not for throwing.

I bought these as an addition to our 12 piece rainbow and have not been disappointed so far. My son (3) likes to make a ball run and use these lovely solid balls to carefully manoeuvre around the run. We've also used them for rolling practice again in conjunction within the large rainbow, matching the colours and aiming to get them 'under the bridge' My one year old is also fascinated by these balls and they're just the right size for her little hands to grasp. The egg box storage that they come in is a great idea (although mine lasted all of 5 minutes before being ripped!) These are lovely either on their own or to use alongside other Grimms toys and are excellent value for money.
