I want one too! | Chanelle
"Got this razor from my boys to their Daddy on fathers day. I wanted to wait to give an honest review after some use. My husband loves it and now wants the brush and soap to go with it. I also want one now...love the weighted feel. Husband says he gets a smooth clean shave minus the cuts!!"
Thumbs up | Debbie
"Hubby loves this, we have some disposables in the cupboard and he's reaching for this first, very easy to use, highly reccomend."
Ms | Paula
"The new stable of mine, and most of the males in my family, bathroom cabinet. The handle is shorter than I anticipated but the razor is so easy to use. I'm a clutz but have yet to cut or manage to do any serious damage!"
FAQs
1. What is this razor made of?
This razor is made of steel, brass, and chrome from England. It's coated with polished brass that won't rust or tarnish like cheaper metal, so it's no need to replace it often. It has a pleasant weight in your hand that helps you get an effective shave.
2. Will I hurt myself using these razors?
As with any other razor, when used correctly-no! The weight of your razor, and the high quality double edged safety blade will help you get a close shave without needing to apply additional pressure, preventing the irritation that can be caused from using dull, multiple blades as found in cartridges.
3. How do I change the blade?
To replace the blade, hold the head still while you turn the handle counter clockwise. Unscrew the handle all the way and pull apart the two parts of the head. Carefully replace the blade, place the two parts of the head back together and then screw the handle back in clockwise until tight. This only takes a moment and is very straight forward.
4. How do you put a new blade in to the safety razor?
Twist the handle anti clockwise until the head of the razor splits apart. Take your old blade out and recycle. Pop the new blade in between the two head pieces and reattach the handle, screwing clockwise until it's nice and tight.
5. How do I dispose of used blades?
Used blades can be securely wrapped and disposed of with household waste, but the safest and most convenient way to dispose of your blades is to use one of our blade banks. These are a really handy accessory, hold hundreds of blades and are cheap. Simply add your blades as required, and when the bank is full(this normally takes years!) you can bring along to your local recycling centre and recycle the whole thing. Simple!
6. Care Instructions:
- Rinse your blade with warm water before and after every use.
- Gently shake off excess moisture after rinsing. Don't press the blade against the inside of the basin and don't let it dry sitting in standing water.
- Apply shaving cream or gel to skin for at least one minute before beginning to shave.
- With safety razor in hand, be mindful not to apply too much pressure.
