The Top 5 Best Teachers Christmas Gifts

teacher christmas gifts

Tis the season to be jolly… and thoughtful and giving, but oh so many people to buy for and so much to get. We’ve done the hard work and found the best 5 teachers Christmas gifts this year! Following on from our what teachers really want for Christmas, we thought we would take an indepth look at the best 5 teachers Christmas gifts, which were polled in our group.

  1. Chocolate
  2. Travel mug
  3. Hand cream
  4. Coffee
  5. Reusable Water Bottle

Chocolate

Chocolate and Christmas are always going to be fine companions. Whether it is a little organic fair trade bar in a unique flavour or a big box to share in the staff room, you can never go wrong with chocolate for teachers. Don’t worry if you think they might get too much as there are always ‘forgotten’ people in a school like the cleaners or technicians that always appreciate some of the excess!

Travel Mug

A travel mug is an essential for any teacher! From keeping their morning coffee hotter for longer (teachers told us they were fed up with cold tea halfway through a class) to keeping them warm on playground duty. We have a gorgeous selection of really stylish mugs so there is bound to be one to suit every teacher. These are great gifts as not only are they saving the planet, they are saving your child's teacher from the horrors or cold tea! If you are feeling generous why not combine with a gift voucher for a lovely local coffee shop? Many will offer discounts when using reusable coffee mugs so what a perfect combination!

Hand Cream

This was one of the most wished for gifts by teachers and Baba Me has a gorgeous selection of completely natural hand creams which are ideal gifts for teachers. Teachers are forever having to clean up spills and messes and washing their hands continually can lead to dry hands, so as all the teachers told us, you can never have too many hand creams!

Coffee

I once saw a coffee mug which said I hope your coffee is stronger than your toddler. Well imagine 30 of your toddlers in one class. I honestly have so much respect for teachers, and am the first to admit I could never do it myself. So why not treat them to some gorgeous coffee. We do some really lovely fair trade ground coffee and coffee beans in several different flavours and strengths (go for 5 for teachers!).

Reusable Water Bottle

A reusable water bottle is a lifeline for any teacher. Have you ever seen 30 preschoolers in a class? It's impossible to keep drinks safe unless they are nicely stored in a water bottle which is non spill. An insulated bottle gives them the added bonus of keeping their drinks either ice cold or piping hot and will keep it at the perfect temperature all day long, just what teachers need!
