Which Ergobaby baby carrier is for you?

When you have a new baby, you'll need a carrier that's easy to use and carry. Ergobaby has a wide variety of carriers to choose from, including car seats, strollers, and more. If you're not sure what to look for in a carrier, take a look at our general guidelines which might help you choose which is the best carrier for you.

The Omni is a new addition to Ergobaby's line of carriers. It has four different positions for carrying your child: front carry - facing out, front carry - facing in, side carry and back carry. The carrier is designed for children between 7 and 33 pounds and does not require an infant carrier when carrying a baby. The new design of the Omni allows it to be used with Adjustable Velcro tabs on the inside of the belt to make it easy to change the fit of the Omni when your child gets bigger or older. It has a crossable strap, a privacy hood, and lumbar support in the belt. It also has a removable storage pouch in the back.

The All-Position 360 is a carrier that can be used by children up to 33 lbs. It can also be used by children as young as 12 lbs. When used with an infant insert, the carrier can be used by children as young as 7 lbs. Most 360 will have this belt feature , but not the Cool Air version. The 360 allows you to carry your child in 4 different positions. Front facing out, front facing in, back carry and hip carry.

The Adapt is a three-position carrier that can be used by children as young as 7lbs. The carrier is made of soft, breathable fabric and features three adjustable straps that can be adjusted to fit your child's height and weight. The shoulder straps can also be adjusted to fit your child's shoulders. It features a privacy hood and a lumbar support, something which Lillebaby carriers launched and have now become commonplace across many carriers. Personally, I think you need a lumbar support as they make carrying so comfortable. The big advantage of the Adapt is that like the Omni, it doesn't require an infant insert. However, it can only be used in 3 positions not 4 like the Omni. You cannot have the front facing out in the Adapt.

The Ergobaby Original Carrier was the company's first carrier and indeed is what launched the company! It is a versatile carrier that can be used in many different ways, however it does need an infant insert which can be cumbersome. It also cannot be used to front face out. The Ergobaby Original Carrier can be used in front carry in, hip carry, or back carry. The Ergobaby Original Carrier can be used by children up to 45lbs. The Ergobaby Original Carrier has a large storage pocket, padded shoulder straps, and a privacy hood.
